SOWEGA Mahj – Terms and Conditions for Classes & Events

By registering for a SOWEGA Mahj class or event, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Registration and Payment
• Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your seat.
• Registrations are non-transferable without prior  approval from SOWEGA Mahj.

2. Cancellations and Refunds
• Due to advance planning and material purchases, refunds are limited.
• A refund may be granted only if the participant is unable to attend your scheduled session and SOWEGA Mahj is unable to accommodate a transfer to another available class.
• No refunds will be issued for missed class or failure to reschedule when an alternative date is offered.
• All refund requests must be submitted via email at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled class.

3. Rescheduling
• Participants may request to transfer to another class session, subject to availability.
• Requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class. SOWEGA Mahj is not obligated to accommodate last-minute changes.

4. Class Materials
• With the exception of the National Mah Jongg League card, all materials provided during class are included in the registration fee.
• Materials are printed and put together in advance based on confirmed registrations; therefore, late cancellations and no-shows may still incur partial charges.

5. Code of Conduct
• Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors and fellow attendees.
• SOWEGA Mahj reserves the right to remove any participant from a class or event without refund for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior.

6. Liability Waiver
• Participation in SOWEGA Mahj classes and events is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
• SOWEGA Mahj is not liable for personal injury, accidents, loss, or damage to personal property during in-person or virtual events.
